    Specifically about you
  • Specifically women
  • Your long hair is your glory (1 Corinthians 11:15)

  • Specifically men
  • Young men: your strength (not necessarily physically) is your glory (Proverbs 20:29)
  • The elderly: your gray hairs are your glory (Proverbs 20:29)

    About BOTH:
  • God loves the worst sinner/lawbreaker/murderer as much as the most obedient, loving person in the world; He gives no preferential treatment to any individual (Romans 2:11)
  • If someone hurts you, wrongs you, trespasses against you, etc., leave revenge up to God and repay evil with kindness--it'll come back to haunt your accuser (Romans 12:19-20)
  • Rejoyce and be happy when you're persecuted for Christ's sake--you will be rewarded (Matthew 5:11-12)
  • Recognize God is the source of your life's strength and accomplishments--"Pride goeth before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18) (Proverbs 11:2) (Isaiah 2:17)
  • Your promotion/power at work or church are given to you by God, through man (Psalm 75:6-7)

  • "Holy" (Ephesians 1:4)
  • An overcomer of the world (1 John 5:4)

    • You should go to church (Hebrews 10:25)
    • You should "tithe": give the first 10% of your gross income to God (Malachi 3:10)
    • Of all of God's commandments, #1 is to love Him, #2 is to love your neighbor (everyone else in the world) like yourself (Matthew 22:37-39)
    • BIBLE'S DEFINITION OF LOVE: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
    • In your job, don't "kiss-up" to your boss or do your best only when being watched by your supervisor; do all duties--from supervising people to scrubbing toilets--as if God was your supervisor/evaluator (Colossians 3:22-23)
    • You represent God and Christianity (if saved) when watched by others; therefore, others will judge not only you but all Christians and God by your attitude
    • Don't take vows or swear to do something--just a simple "yes" or "no" is good enough (Matthew 5:34-37)
